a) The Executive is elected from organisational members at the Annual General Meeting, and must represent both metropolitan and rural ABI service providers.
b) Regional ABI Networks are convened within the regions and aim to actively involve generic service providers and DHS regional office representatives.
c) Each executive member holds a portfolio responsible for day to day liaison with each regional ABI Network
Executive members serve a three year term and are voted in by VCASP membership at the AGM. The names, orgnaisations and emails of our current Executive are available for download below.
The Executive meets on a monthly basis.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE SUBCOMMITTEE
This subcommittee provides a venue for discussion and consultation across the disability and justice sectors about ways to improve the service system in the following identified areas:
• Prevention
• Police intervention – training, approach, Independent Third Person Program
• Access to legal services
• Identification and assessment of people with ABI within all parts of the criminal justice system
• Courts and sentencing options
• Community corrections
• Pre and post release supports
• Programs within prison settings and community correctional services

VCASP Kids
This subcommittee is designed to bring service providers together to:
. support and share knowledge
. use a strategic / systemic approach to identify 'gaps' and barriers that exist for families and kids
. look at ways to influence and change things
